The purpose of the event is to:
- Enable the bidders to understand the existing local landscape and to ensure their bids reflect this.
- Ensure bids are joined up with other local services.
- Provide an opportunity for bidders to meet with potential local sub-contractors.
The event will take place at the Conference and Genesis Centre, Somerset College of Art and Technology (SCAT) in Taunton on 10th December; it will start at 10.00am.
The format of the day will be as follows:
10.00am
- Introduction by Adrian Bailey, Director, Regional Employment and Skills Board
- Presentations from Partners covering West of England, Gloucester, Swindon and Wiltshire
- Questions/points from the floor
12.00pm
- Lunch/Networking Opportunity for SW Providers with the potential bidders
1.15pm
- Introductions from Adrian Bailey
- Presentations from Partners covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole
- Questions/points from the floor
3.30pm
