In April 2007, the South West Regional Employment and Skills Partnership (RESP)
Board tasked SLIM with the development and implementation of a Performance
Monitoring Framework. The Framework supports the RESP Statement of Priorities
2007-2010 and replaces the Balanced
Scorecard Archives .
The framework of indicators allows the RESP to track trends in the region's skills,
enterprise and employment performance, and is based on a set of robust and agreed
indicators, grouped into four elements.
Performance Monitoring reports are presented to the Board on a biannual basis.
To help oversee this work SLIM has established a Performance Monitoring Group.
Chaired by John Wilkinson of the CBI, on behalf of the RESP Board, representation
includes: the SWRDA, LSC, HEFCE, GOSW, SSCs and Jobcentre Plus and the Group
meets on a quarterly basis.
The Framework is a working document and will change and adapt according to the monitoring requirements of partner organisation.
