The South West Regional Skills Partnership (SWRSP - formerly Enterprise and Skills Alliance SWESA) is the key regional decision making body for skills in the south west, offering leadership and strategic direction for all activity. It is made up of senior level staff able to influence their organisations and with command of resources.
The SWRSP builds on the objectives established in the SW FRESA linking these to four priorities of:
Partners will work to fulfil regional targets as agreed through the SWESA.
The SWRSP will act as a strategic catalyst and a 'voice for the region' in strategic dialogue with government. It will also influence activity and allocation of resources by partner and the principal skills funding organisations in the region.
SLIM has undertaken the South West Regional Skills, Enterprise and Employment Analysis. This will provide the evidence base for the development of the Regional Skills Partnership Statement of Priorities for 2007/8. This Statement will be set in the context of the South West Regional Economic Strategy.

SLIM is responsible for measuring the performance of SWRSP quarterly using a 'Balanced Scorecard' .
