The South West Employment and Skills Partnership (SWRESB - formerly Enterprise and Skills Alliance SWESA) is the key regional decision making body for skills in the south west, offering leadership and strategic direction for all activity. It is made up of senior level staff able to influence their organisations and with command of resources.
The SWRESB builds on the objectives established in the SW FRESA linking these to four priorities of:

Partners will work to fulfil regional targets as agreed through the SWESA.
The SWRESB will act as a strategic catalyst and
a 'voice for the region' in strategic dialogue with government. It will
also influence activity and allocation of resources by partner and the
principal skills funding organisations in the region.
SLIM works closely with the SW ESP and is responsible for producing the evidence to underpin the development of strategic priorities by the partnership.
The Regional Employment and Skills Analysis 2010 will provide the evidence base for the review of the European Social Fund (ESF) Frameworks and the Employment and Skills Partnership (ESP) priorities. It will also form part of the evidence base for the Skills element of the Single Regional Strategy.
